UNESCO’s Road for Peace: Dialogue and Action for Tolerance and Intercultural Understanding

The International Center Alliance of Civilizations was represented at “UNESCO’s Road for Peace: Dialogue and Action for Tolerance and Intercultural Understanding,” held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest on the occasion of the UN International Day of Peace, by Ivan Ivanov, Chairman of the Executive Board of ICAC.

Ivanov participated in the panel inspired by the legacy and philosophy of Béla Bartók, contributing to a timely discussion on the role of culture, music, dialogue, and mutual respect in bridging differences and strengthening peaceful coexistence.

ICAC strongly believes that in a world increasingly marked by polarization and division, intercultural dialogue must go beyond tolerance toward genuine understanding and mutual respect. Peace is not built by erasing our differences, but by creating spaces in which those differences can meet, communicate, and enrich one another.
